I have a hen that is sitting on some eggs. Today is day 22. I have been pacing the floor hoping that we have some new babies in the next day or two. I went out back where she is laying and I heard a "peep peep" coming from an egg. I am so stinking excited. She has been such a good mommy hen. I almost can't contain myself.

yay!! more chickies! I can't wait till my girls get bigger and one goes broody so I can hatch some too

Congratulations. I want a broody hen so bad but don't have one. I also said I am not going to hatch anymore till next year but I feel the fever hitting badly.

I love incubating and hatching.

terrilhb, I have the same feeling. I don't need anymore right now. I am nervous enough about having babies this late.
