last saturday at auction, we got 10 cornish cross chicks, not for eating though!, I felt sorry for them (some guy brought in over 100!).

they were cute looking in the box, but GOD they stunk!,

they are quite tame, maybe just too lazy to be scared?, I'm not sure how old they are, as they are all different sizes.

I will NEVER save any of these things again, like I said we arn't going to eat them, I got them out of pity, and to see how long they'd live

LET ME TELL YOU, these things go through food like

,

a bowl of food that lasted the other chicks about 2 days, is GONE in about 5 hours! a couple of the biggest cornish sleep IN the food bowl

they are quite hefty already, and some are absolutly filthy, alot of them look pink, are they supposed to look greasy?

I really don't find the appeal of them.

can't eat em if I wanted to anyway, I'm allegic to chicken( the meat, not the bird itself)

You really need to rehome them. They are bred for meat and that's all they're good for. Keeping them past butchering age is not doing them or you any favors. They tend to develop leg problems or just keel over.
