I can see her heart!?

I’ll show a diagram of a chicken skeleton here: 65FC9C6A-6AD9-443E-82CB-6C8006078B68.jpeg

As you can see, the in fact do not have breast bones. It actually looks pretty easy for a heart to move over and squeeze out of the openings in the front, but I don’t know.

That video was awesome. I have a chicken that I keep alone so she can stay healthy too. As long as you give her plenty of attention, she'll be fine being without other birds. Mine goes for car rides and sits in my lap.

Yea, you guys are all right.I looked where the heart is supposed to be located, and it's right in the front chest of the chicken. I think that it probably slipped through during development, and it explains why she was having lung and developmental issues at first. It's possible there are other things misplaced that I don't know about... Do you think it would be possible for her to ever move in with the other chickens?

Maybe small, gentle chickens like silkies or bantam polish, but certainly no roosters and probably no standard hens. She'll be at the bottom of the pole and they could hurt her

I don’t think so. A bad peck or puncture to her chest and she would be done for. She will probably have to be a pet chicken.

I have all bantam Faverolles and one bantam Polish. Right now she's with a bunch of tiny babies, because she really loves cuddles. I'm worried that if I don't give her friends, she'll get stressed and die (which has unfortunately happened with me before).

I have a girl that's about 10 weeks old that has lived by herself for probably 6 of those weeks. Again, if she isn't just left alone in a cage that is fed and watered once a day and ignored the rest, she'll probably be fine. Just give her lots of attention and visit her a lot. I say hi and interact with my special girl every time I pass her cage in my basement (like almost every hour)
