I cannot get my thermometer to 99.5...so can I incubate at 99.7 or should I go lower than 99.5? I have tried several thermometers...one reads between 99 and 100 only and the other reads 99.9

which should I do? I have always let my chickens do the hatching, but I wanted to try this...thanks in advance for all your help.

just monitor it it should be fine. I had some bad spikes but 98-100 is okay for just about any breed no matter what kind of bird it is. I would say just watch it. That is about all you can do. I too usually use broodies. I have two with eggs under them now already lol.
