does anyone have family
that they do not know?
like you could pass them on the street
and have no idea you were related?

I have a cousin
six years younger than me
I have never seen her
I think she lives overseas,
I must ask some time

Alot of my cousins i have never seen at all.. so there are about 5 family members i wouldn't recognize

I have a niece that I met once when she was 17, and the last time I saw her older sister was over 20 years ago. I am fairly sure I wouldn't know if they passed me on the street. I don't think that I would recognize any of my cousins either. We are not a close family.

I have way too many family members
I have never seen
the cousin is the one closest to me in age though
I do not really see any advantage in getting to know
the entire extended family

but it may be nice to have some connections
after the older generation has passed on

I actually have something like a billion cousins...

and all of them are almost a different generation... like 20 years older than me.....
My sister and I look completely different though. She has short hair, for one...
