well, all good ideas..thanks everyone! With the banty rooster that I just got rid of, he was a little gentleman until Maggie started laying eggs, then watch out!! Even for a banty he was shredding up my husbands work boots when he kicked....
As far as breeds go, this new one is a leghorn...what does everyone think about them? typically mean? typically docile? hell i have chickens as pets..i guess i've already thrown "typical" out the window
