what a pain!
i finally got my blood sugar monitor thingie and of course my blood sugar is fine..but i guess its better to be safe than sorry!
it is hard to get up the nerve to poke yourself though
Well, I called the Drs. office to get a refill on my Zofran. I take it because I have to...I still puke some even with taking it, but it would be so much worse without it. She told me to take the phenergan. I told her I take them at night because they knock me out and I have 4 kids. She said cut them in half.....did that, doesn't help....so she said well cut them into 4 pieces! You know how little these pills are? They almost crumble cutting them in half and what is a 1/4 of a pill going to do for me if I still get sick taking a whole one?
Ok vent over, just fill my prescription please.

Sounds like what I went thru with my insurance company. The lady I talked to kept saying well why can't you take phenergran? Umm because it has never worked for me and I ended up in the hospital and I have 5 kids who need me to be awake!
Don't know about you guys but our family insurance is $850 a month and it sucks. Still have to pay $3000-$5000 out of pocket for a vaginal birth. The $5000 was because my son had jaundice and stayed a few more days. I am glad the Health Care bill passed. Maybe we will get a little relief from the cost of healtcare. Don't mean to start a debate. They are brutal on the babycenter birth board. I don't even post there and read very little.

We are lucky that we have really good insurance this time and it covers all of the hospital stay. With some of my kids we didn't. BUT my dr doesn't accept our new insurance so I had to pay her out of pocket. Which sucked but she's been my dr for 12+ years and I didn't want to change.
I've never posted on babycenter. I do post some on Ivilliage but they can be just as bad. I had posted something about how I can't wait to get to 36 weeks so I know I can have these babies and got flamed for it. Was told I was horrible for wanting my babies to come early!
whatever, I know from history that by 36 weeks I was so done with all my pregnancies that I don't really think this twin pregnancy is gonna be different. Plus I have a good history of delivering 8+lb babies at 37 weeks.
I love the new spicey Nachos from Taco bell. Wonder if Tums works on that????
I heard a new thing this pregnancy from my doctor. She said I have to zap all lunch meat in the microwave....even the prepackaged. I just try to stay away from the deli meat, but isn't subway deli meat?
Lunch meat can have listeria and thats why your suppose to heat it up. The chances of actually getting it are small but the chance is there. I still eat at subway when I'm in the mood. I figure its like all the other things we are suppose to avoid, moderation and common sense are key.
