I'm here

being irritated by everyone and everything, I still havent stopped contracting but they keep telling me until I'm in more pain not to come in... I tried explaining that I got to 7cm with my daughter before I knew I was in labor but they dont care... Hope and pray it's soon because my sanity is wearing thin and my poor daughter probably thinks mommy is evil right now, I'm trying to be fun and paitent but it's taking more than I have left, not to mention the hubs is working 12hr days right now. I can hardly think straight on top of it all...

i would just go in there, freaking out as bad as possible and demand to be looked after..tell them the pain is the worst you have ever had.
jerk doctors!

go in. it's harder for them to fob you off if you're there contracting in front of them.

you will have to lie and tell them they hurt....sad, but true. Mine are not unbearable until I am in transition. My last 3 babies my water broke or had a leak so i was in the hospital already. First one had to be induced.....good luck.

good luck on everyones ultrasound tomorrow.....they are very cool to see. Hoping for twins or more?

got my hands full here with puking kids again. The older kids hit the bucket, but the 24 month old just goes anywhere without warning. Time to clean the carpets again

Just got back from my ultrasound. We have one healthy bean. Measures exactly 6 weeks and 1 day. Heart rate of 115 beats per minute. I have now graduated from the Reproductive endocrinologist and have to figure out which ob/midwife I want to use. I wish homebirth wasn't underground here. So I'll probably go with an ob and a black market midwife at the same time. The ob so my insurance will pay for any tests needed and a midwife to do the homebirth. LOL I'm a bit of a crunchy mama.

nothing wrong with wanting a homebirth and a midwife. I loved the midwife i used when i was in NJ for my daughter Ona. then we moved back here to the midwest and the closest one in an hour away in KS and my insurance wont cover using her anyways. silliness.
congrats on 1 happy healthy little bean! i think we will be due within day of each other. i go for my scan on monday.

Congrats! I'm due August 4th, so ours will be pretty close together! My parents' anniversary is Aug. 2 and my uncle's b-day is Aug. 7, so everyone's taking bets on when he'll be born. Do you know what you're having yet?

The family is taking bets on Ashton, too. Some say she'll have it late July and almost everyone else thinks she'll end up popping on her birthday. I don't care when, just so long as she doesn't do what my SIL did and bleed out.

Oh! A little, fiesty as all get out, girl. Kalee Lynn. The other day I had my hand on her belly and Kalee kicked me harder than ever. So we sat and watched her, you can practically see the outlines of her feet when she goes to kicking Ash.

I put paid to all the speculation by being given a definite date when this baby will be evicted from my uterus 2 weeks before he'd due whether I like it or not (and since the thought of being sliced open doesn't appeal to me for some strange reason

it's definitely "not")

I'm having a boy... to which out of the 6 or so people who know I'm pregnant have said "ooh I bet [fiance's name] is pleased!" like he wouldn't be equally pleased with a girl. Who cares whether this baby is an XX or an XY? all we care is that he's healthy!

sorry, I'm off on one today - 3rd trimester seems to be the one where I get a bit aggro!
