I found a little more out about Isaiah-he had chromosome problems, but I am not positive exactly what. My doctor thought that it sounded a lot like Trisomy 18, but he doesn't know all the details so he can't say for sure. They are taking it very well-Becca says she just can't wait to meet him in Heaven.

I have heard that that particular type of chromosome defect is especially painful for the baby and their lives are very short. I am sorry for your friend. I am sure this is very devastating for the family.

T's and P's for that lost baby, how heartbreaking.

Had my US on monday! 1 little healthy bean is growing! HB was 126 and it wiggled which was awesome to see. My due date is offically 1-1-11 but no one thinks I will make it further than mid-december LOL.

Some of my friends are calling it "Slimey" after the cute worm puppet on seseame street bc I compare it to an inchworm

it might have just been my baby, but i bought some of that enfamil restful formula...and i am here to tell you that it DIDNT WORK. he cried more in fact because he wanted another bottle, right after polishing off 4 ounces. he then had really bad gas and screamed for 3 solid hours so tread lightly on this one.

I have my 28 week check-up today. I have to do the glucose test.

And I'll be moving on to appts every 2 weeks. On the up side I'm getting an ultrasound and hopefully some 3D images! I can't wait to see what my little man looks like in 3D!

My DH's uncle just came down from OH with a load of stuff for us. He has 2 little boys that are 2 and 4. He brought us a changing table, swing, bouncer, walker, stroller, car seat w/ 2 bases, and a ton of boy clothes. I'm not going to have to buy anything! LOL I even told him I'll have to go back and take stuff off my registry. I think that's an ok problem to have though.

wow, that's great! I wish someone had that much stuff to give me, but unfortunately it's just my cousin's kid's baby toys and a travel system (that I'll need to go a couple of hundred miles to collect), I think they ebayed his clothes etc as he outgrew them.

You're so fortunate, Kelly!

midwife came out to see me today, everything's ok. heartbeat was 150, which is apparently normal.

my BP was back to being ok too.

28 week check went well, except my stubborn kid had his face smashed against the placenta so we couldn't get any 3D images.

The glucose test wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. BP was 100/70 and I've gained 14 lbs.

I am VERY fortunate and thankful. It worked out well that we're having a boy (even though I wanted a girl) b/c DH's uncle and sister each have 2 little boys, and 2 of our other friends have little boys within a year of ours, so they're ALL giving us stuff. I won't have to buy anything really for the first year. It's wonderful. If any of you are close by I'd be more than happy to share since between all of them I'll have more than I need.
