I cant believe its been a year!!

Wow "hi" I am late....I didn't know this site was here.
Hi Robin's Brood. I thought I was going through the "change" and getting really lazy which was why I was getting a bigger tummy.
I have no idea how far along I am until I see a doctor on 1/5. My estimate middle of July is my due date.

My daughter's birthday is July 10. That would be a nice due date for you, don't you think?

I didn't think I would ever be pregnant again either. I honestly thought I was headed towards the big M... at least PeriM... so this baby was (is) a HUGE surprise. I'm still not mentally prepared for having a newborn again.

My two at home daughters started crying when I told them. I felt really bad too. Like I had really let them down.
I am 44 and was actually really excited about getting the "now" baby into Kindergarten.

I just gave away my maternity clothes and most of the baby clothes to my little sister (She is 22) and just had her first. ( I have always been suspicious that if you give away the baby things or maternity clothes you immediately get pregnant, I just thought I was safe at this time)
The girls got happy after my DH mentioned that the alternative was termination of the pregnancy. They immediately got angry at him for even mentioning it.

They are a quite a bit more happy now.
I am happier now with their support but still a little more worried about my age in regards to the possible complications. I never mention this to them though just because I don't want to worry them.
I am not sure if I want to tell my parents at all. I feel like I am 14 and I am really concerned with their reaction.

The good news is they can't through me out of the house.

I'm doing good. This pregnancy is so different than all my others. I feel like I'm starting my 3rd trimester instead of only being 17 weeks.

The babies are getting more active and DH felt one of them kick the other night. I told him it was Baby A. He
thinks its cool that I can tell them apart. Shh don't tell him I can't, I just tell him I can. lol

I have a dr's appointment this week and I hope we find out what they are. It will make things more real if I can start thinking of names and looking for things for them.

Anyway, she took it fine (good thing since the baby is coming no matter what.) Hopefully your parents will be as supportive as mine have been.

Are you going to do any of the screenings for birth defects? I didn't want to have anything invasive done so I opted for blood tests and ultrasounds. So far, so good!

we are naming this little guy francis henry..we are so out of boy names!
i cant believe some of us are almost to the 3rd trimester already...its going by fast, thats for sure.

We're now leaning towards Ethan for our little guy's name. Ethan Daniel or Ethan Lane. Can't imagine having to come up with as many boy names as you have had to!

I'm scheduled for my 2nd GTT on 1/20... hoping to get a neg result from that one as well.

After all the Christmas goodies I have indulged in, I really DREAD the weigh in at that appt.!

I am really concerned that I have Gestational Diabetes like my last pregnancy. I am actually thin but I have indulged in sweets and breads etc. I do not want an another 9 lbs. baby like my 2nd. he damaged a nerve in my leg that still hurts. There are other complications also to diabetes too.
I will have the amnio but because most amnio tests are done in the second trimester or sometimes the third it is often too late to do much but prepare for the birth.
For a girl it will be
