Wake Med. Awesome experience, I can't praise them enough. We had to stay for four days because of my C-section and the fact that Joey had Jaundice, and needed treatment.

LisaJean He has a sweet face, congrads!!! One of my sons was 9lbs. at birth. He is now 6'9" and at Navy boot camp.

That is wonderful news about the baby Shadowhills Farm I am so glad everything went well. We are looking forward to pictures.

Cool! Ethan was in the ICN (NICU) for 6 days due to hypoglycemia and jaundice. Great team of ped nurses in that place! Were you with Kamm, McKenzie, (etc.) group of OBs? If so, who delivered you? Dr. Bass delivered me... he was funny, getting me to try to beat a first time mother who was ready to deliver at the same time I was. I won! No way I was letting her beat me, even if it meant I had to push out my 9lb 15oz baby in less than 10 minutes...

love the baby pictures and congrats to everyone......

guess I am having issues..... TMI but when I stepped on the wire and it went into my foot it got infected and I was given a antibiotic shot and pills along with the tetanus shot....well, along with the antibiotic comes you know what and the over the counter cream is not working.......
Yesterday I couldn't do anything because I kept getting light headed and feeling like I was going to puke.....last night I had lots of pressure down there and back cramps and lost some mucus plug last night and all day today.....also getting heart palpations while resting.....so I finally call the nurse about 2 and she calls back and tells me I am probably dehydrated...yadda yadda,,,,,well, I know I am not because I pee all the time and have been drinking plenty and going through 1 WATERMELON EVERY COUPLE DAYS....lol finger hit the caps...sorry. She said call back if I am bleeding like a period or doubled over in pain.....um, ok advice for someone close to full term but I am only 29 weeks.
Took my bloodpressure tonight and it wasn't bad.....140/80, but still to high being on meds 3 times a day......not much swelling and not many BH contractions, just pressure, but I don't feel much until I hit 5 Cm anyways. I am going to demand to be seen tomorrow just to make sure everything is ok......better safe than sorry. My next appointment isn't until next Friday.

Mrs. Turbo, I hope everything goes well tomorrow at the dr. I think you should go asap. I think 29 weeks is still a little early for the plug and stuff to be happening.

I went swimming today and it felt good. It was my 1st time this year and the 1st time I used my maternity bathing suit. I want to get at least a little use out of it.

Had my 36 week check today...everything cooking along just fine!

On the other hand, a friend of mine found out today (at 10 weeks) that her pregnancy is no longer viable...no heartbeat.

This was her first and she was so excited...I don't know how to help her through this. I'm afraid that seeing me will upset her more since I'm pregnant. Any advice for her or for me on how to help her?

There is a forum on mothering.com that is for pregnancy and birth loss. Might be a good place to read for both of you. And if she feels like sharing the mamas over there are very understanding.
