I feed mine game bird starter from the time they are born until 8-12 weeks I kina just look at them and know when they are ready split in half they are about the same as a turkey wing . I grew up eating mourning dove mallards and mergansers ( fish ducks) coturnix are kina milder flavored then these specie

Really?

Can you eat 20 chicken eggs for breakfast?

Large chicken egg (about 2 oz) equals to 4 to 5 jumbo coturnix eggs

I scramble or fry 12 - 15 coturnix eggs instead of 3-4 chiken eggs.

So your math is way off my friend.

And the coturnix eggs leave chicken eggs in the dust as far as nutritional value is concerned, setting the taste issue on side, since it is subjective.

LOL

I have a family of four, so lets say, it takes 50 eggs for a decent breakfast. (I can stretch them with milk and flour). Nutritionally, I agree, awesome ! I was making a joke, relax.....

If you're going for bulk for meat birds, Jumbo Brown Coturnix are the way to go. I separated all of my 4 and 6 week old birds by sex this morning. I have sold almost all of the females. All but a few of 6 week old henss shipped out to their new home last week and the 4 week old hens ship tomorrow. All of the boys (save one lucky HUGE 6 week old) are in a butcher pen and will stay there until the 4 week olds are ready to butcher. In 4 weeks we'll have 50+ ready to process. The lucky big boy and the remaining 6 week old hens went into a breeder pen
