I can't figure out this Cricut machine!!! HELP

I borrowed a cricut machine and I cant figure it out. First I need to make a bunch of different size circles, then I can play with other stuff. Can anyone help?

I'm sorry, I cant help...but I have always been curious about these machines, so I'll be following this thread.

I've never used one, but did you get the user manual with it? That's the first place I'd look if I was trying to figure out how to set it up and use the cartridges. http://www.cricut.com/res/mManual/CricutUserManual.pdf

my son figured it out....it is easy but I just get frustrated easy LOL
Now to make my cirles and then play with other stuff

I love my cricut and I have the gypsy as well. I just never have time to play with it now LOL I heard they have digital down loads for new cartridges but am not sure if that is true if so they are cheaper then the cartridges.
