Hi all,
I live in Minnesota and it has been cold (-10 to 10) and snowy. I have been trying to lure them out for a week and a half now.
My question: Is this normal?
This is their 1st winter, and they are about 25 weeks old. They seem to be happy and content, they are laying. Do you think scratch will lure them out, or should I not worry about it?
Thanks

Perfectly normal! My chickens especially don't come out in snow, and cold + snow guarantees they'll stay in. I can't say I blame them much! lol

On a warmer, sunny day you might want to shovel a path for them and then see if they'll come out. Otherwise, don't worry about it.

my younger chicks are staying in most time when its cold when they come out they stay close to coop while the older chicks are roaming all over my yard.
