Yes, that is what we figured. Her coloring didn't seem right. But she sure is one beautiful and friendly bird!

And that's all that matters. Overall, I personally prefer Easter Eggers to Ameraucanas.

Which color variety? Gotta love the feisty ones.

Give them time....some pullets take a year to lay.

Looks like you actually have a blue and a black Ameraucana pullets. Most people get duped that their Eater Eggers are Ameraucanas. They look nice, healthy, and full of spunk. I hope you get your pretty blue eggs soon!

Omg! One of our Ameraucanas laid her first egg today!! Talk about crazy timing! It looks more green though, I'm wondering if it'll turn a little more blue maybe?? Or maybe we just don't have Ameraucanas like we though?? Either way, we were over the moon excited!!
