I can't stop crying - help

Don't beat yourself up (or let others make you feel guilty) .. this is NOT your fault.. It happens.

Or if people wouldn't order when it's still so cold it wouldn't be a problem either!

Every year it's the same thing tho......dead chicks because of the weather. If people wouldn't insist on ordering this time of year, the hatcheries wouldn't have customers so they might rethink even selling at this time of year.

Ideal emailed me over 2 weeks ago and said they were pre oredering Guinea fowl. I told them, no thank you, I will wiat until the weather is better here in Missouri.

The Farmers Almanac stated that THIS winter was going to be the longest and coldest yet on record for my area. Now I believe it.

I am SICK of this winter, I am so sorry you lost your babies. Tell Cackle not to ship until the weather is better in your area.

Every year it is the same stories. Dead babies because of the weather. The post office for some reason is really slow this year. I think they are cutting back on transportation expenses.

Your chicks should have arrived WITHIN two days tops. Even priority mailings are rediculously slow.

I just got off the phone with Cackle - They will hold my order for warmer weather

At least you gave them a chance. If customers do not buy chicks and there is a surplus they are ground up as feed! SO atleast you tried to save there lives. Think Positive! Not your fault! It is the shippers responsibility to get your package to you in good condition. regardless of it being a living creature or not. They should have known what the weather was and shipped accordingly. I'm not knocking the hatcheries! BUT they all could do a little better.

Good luck and God Bless!!!!
