I cant tell what my quail are??

I have 14 coturnix quail and i know for a fact that 3 are female and about 4 are male but the rest have rusty chests AND spots. Please help idk what they are and need advice. If they have any spots does that mean that they are female?

Hey I thought my 14 were 2 males and 12 females too, wait an extra two weeks and turns out I had 8 males and 6 females...

If they're browns you sometimes need to wait until 5 or 6 weeks, at least that's what I have found out... even the male I kept from that bunch still has some spots... and hes over a year old... But definitely rusty compared to the girls.

. Wait a 1/2 more weeks then'll be able to tell I had the same problem most sorted out except one I'm confused
