I caught a possum!

The ones I chaught didn't have babys, but the part about a possum playing dead is true.

yea sometimes I will go to the traps and the pssum will be "playing dead" which will scare me then i go to let them out and they pop up like nothing wrong and scamper off

At first I thought he was dead then he fanged us.

yes they will kill and eat chickens starting with the head and going all the way down to the breast meat i caught them in the act and in the trap and a 22 to the head takes care of them,well more then 1 ause they are tough to kill, they are the nastiest critter out there they are really just an overgrown rat nasty and gross kill dont release

Next one I catch I'll do somting differnt I guesse. 1 22. to the head wan't kill them at close range?

I work with captive possums at my job and do teaching programs with them^^
Such funny looking animals.
They do sort of scare me with those teeth!! Did you all know that possums have the most teeth of any land animal?

to the non debate oh yeah 1 22 right between the eyes does not kill them and as far as the coop they just keep chewing and scratching the wood to make another hole,up here in minnesota where it is cold they will do anything to get a meal,i never said they were related to rats just that theyare really an oversized rat which they pretty much are to me ugly nasty and full of diseases
