Actually... can there be crosses to make sexlinks with yellow legs? I only ever had 2 and they had gray legs.

So, he could be a barred cochin, if its full feather boots... but if its only a few, I'd guess he was a mix, with is mother being a barred cochin and his father a solid something. This specific mix would produce a sex linked bird.

Yep, so he's a mix then. And actually even looks like a cockerel in this pic. That's a big comb for a couple of weeks old!

The two pictures made me think cukoo marans, but usually I'm not very good at this.
The barring pattern does not look like the rocks or sex links I've seen, and that baby face screams marans to me, with feathered feet i would say that seals the deal... But if I'm the only one guessing that then i can't say for certain.

@Frazzemrat1, i totally agree, but hatchery quality doesn't really hold to a standard. I would agree that there's mixed blood in that line.
