I love chickens, what can I say? I’m guilty of it, I’ll admit to the crime of stalking my girls just to watch them scratch around looking for anything that they’re little pea-sized brain finds delicious or interesting. Watching them scramble to get to wherever they feel they need to go puts me into peals of laughter. Now, after raising chickens off and on for several years, I’ve unknowingly given my 17 year old daughter the chicken-lover bug. She now stalks our girls, falls into glorious giggles at their chicken-like antics, and has brought home chicks I’d never imagine myself owning- Silkies. Here’s to a joyous life filled with chattering , fertilizer creating, curious, and lovable chickens!
