I created a MONSTER!!!!

I took my kids with me to the feed store to pick up a bag of chicken food for our new chickens....first time chicken owners...So I have 11 and I said I was DONE buying chickens! My son buys 4 more chicks with his own money! My husband and I teach our kids that they can be independent and do what they want with their money...and he is 16 and buys chickens!!! LOL! He is SO proud of his new buy! 1 bantam Old English, 1 Sicilian ButterCup, 1 Silver Lakenvelder and 1 Golden Lakenvelder!

lucky him, my parents won't let me buy any while growing up so i kept what i had, some seasons we only have 2 or 3 hens

tell them if they dont let you buy chicks, then you are going to go do something irresponsible with your money. Like go buy candy, a car, or worse yet? a goat.
