My metzer duck Shelley is the smartest in the flock. Wendy is also a metzer duck and she is dumber than a box of rocks, but she is sweet

Do your WHs go broody, Wifezilla? That's what I'm hoping for though I know my new babies won't be ready for next year.

They haven't yet, but Wendy just went through a heavy molt. Shelley is laying but I am seeing lose feathers on her. Lexus is TRYING to lay but has only produced a couple of jello eggs so far. I am not expecting any brooding attempts until they are laying more regularly. At least one of the 4 should go broody by spring.
