I did it! The meat birds are in the coolers on ice!!

Just had our first homegrown bird on Saturday, It was a large rooster and I cooked it with white wine and mushrooms. Yummy!!! We processed 3 just to try it. I have 15 more to go but I want to make some kind of plucker The slaughter was clean and quick. I hand plucked them which seemed to take forever Put them on ice for a few hours then into my Barn refrigerator for 3 days. Tender and tasty. I also ordered the shrink wrap bags. It really makes for a professional looking package.Very neat .
