can I ask a touchy question? I haven't slaughtered birds since I was a kid, and I've got a couple of rather frightful memories of how that went. how do you do the deed?

Had to put down a couple of my birds that were very ill and it broke my heart!!!

I was wondering if skinning would be easier I buy them skinless in the store! glad it all worked out nicely

WOW! 10 weeks old and already 8-9 pounds! Mine aren't anywhere NEAR that big they are almost 5 weeks old.

I had noticed that most of the chicken and turkeyin the grocery stores is injected with some salty solution; my boys complain about the very salty gravy and I didn't add any salt!! Yuk!
