I got my first turkeys this year and they’re about 2 1/2 months old now.
I went to put them to bed tonight and discovered what I think is the beginning of a beard? Which I didn’t even know what a thing turkeys even had?? (At least I hope it’s a beard and nothing wrong with him.)
Google said 5 months they get them and he’s half that. I thought he laid on a thistle and I was trying to get it off before I realized it was in his skin!
They are so much more fun and interesting than my chickens!
