Welcome to BYC. Ducklings are very susceptible to vitamin deficiency illnesses. If you can not get a balanced diet it will be necessary to provide vitamin supplementation.

Hello and welcome! I don't really keep ducks yet, but I agree with @sourland ducks do need a balanced diet. Is there anyway you could order duck food online or curbside pickup?

My understanding is ducklings don't need grit unless you're feeding them something besides bagged food, which I plan on doing. I will most likely add some soil from the yard to their treats and give them access to sandbox sand.

I am not going to overthink this, because ducks in the wild aren't getting a highly marketed product.
