I don't know if my chicken is gone or what

Yeah I think I will probably leave her alone but I never did actually find her or it . She just happen to show up from under the building they all roost in and I was letting the others out i herd her and then here she came from Under the building . So after that she went off with the other and then disappeared again shortly after leaving .

What did she sound like? Often times broodies off their nests will run around making mama hen noises while they do their 'business' (see if you can find an extra large incredibly smelly pile of poo) and grab a bite to eat/drink.

I had a chicken that did not come home one night. Searched and searched but she showed up the next day. If she is smaller than your other chicken she might not like getting picked on and stays away from the bigger birds.
