i dont know what they are but ....update

today my daughter went and picked up a doz eggs from her boy friend .. they have no ideal to what they have just dark dark brown eggs and large to .. all they could say is yeap theres roosters out there (LOL) they have never hatched thier eggs but .. with me geting only a few aday i needed a fix on eggs lol .. so barn yard mix here i come ... lol lest see if they hatch ... i hope so ...
ok my daughter went and took pics for me i see rir and Welsummer ,buff org .. and something like buff org but with lighter coloring on the under side so not sure to as what they are ...

Congrats! I'd love to hatch a few from my mixed flock, just to see what I get. I keep thinking I *might* go buy some eggs from dh's farmer friend. I have no idea what he has for a flock, but the eggs he sells (tech. for eating) are fertilized. What fun!

That is how we got our eggs....from a farmer lady who has 45 chickens and loves to hatch too!
She has 2 bator and all her chicks are mixes of everything.
See though, I did not care and just wanted to hatch some chicks so I grabbed 24 from her.
Now I am at the end of day 20 one is shaking like crazy and we have 6 wobbly....the rest...who knows!
