nice! you know my BO hen is also named Lucy! our other BO hen is named Ethel

I've had three of those breeds (not BO) and their eggs all look fairly similar. My Australorps lay speckled eggs, though. Could be any one of the three of them.

I showed Lucy the egg and she pecked it. Don't know if that means it's hers.
