Ok, so your socks are clean! Not everyone can relate to the fluffy/fuzzy addiction until they see them in real life. I mean, even Vin Diesel (um............) got used to his ducky in the Pacifier

I hardly ever get responses on facebook. Of course, I don't often respond to other people on there, so I can't expect much in return.

lol uhhh i didn't watch that. i'm not a fan of vin diesel or cheesy movies for that matter. lol my socks are clean when i don't step in ducky pooo

i've been talking to my teacher after class lately about my ducks behavior because they make me laugh lol and she laughs too. it's an anthropology class and someone in class once said that animals don't laugh, and i said yes they do, why wouldn't they?? i have video of what looks like my duck laughing so that was my argument lol. i also have video of my girl shaking her tail to me singing shake your booty to her. lol

Yep, I read updates from people whenever I am on there, I just don't respond. I figure the same is true for people reading my updates and not responding.

folks say I'm anthropomorphizing my dog, but I am convinced he can communicate with both me and the wife, because we know what he's saying to us. It's the same way. I can talk anybody's ear off about beast the wonder mutt, defender of my daughters, big baby who sleeps in my lap and folks eyes glaze over. They don't believe it till they see it.

My mom never believed me till I told beast to go get his leash. He brought it out in his mouth and dropped it. I told him, no, give the leash to my mom. So he picked it up and did it. Suddenly my mom loves my big scary pitt looking dog and now believes what I've been saying for years.

I don't have ducks, but I figure they are like that for you in their own way. I do believe animals experience happiness, sadness, boredom etc... But most folks aren't that empathetic.

Were here even if we don't always chime in. My mom always said bird's of a feather flock together, and you know many of us here on BYC love to hear about your duck's. So when are those egg's due?

my ducks do listen! it's crazy. one time duckie had a napkin in his mouth and i said duckie bring me the napkin now, and he came dropped it in my hand and walked away. i was stunned. i don't think people give animals as much credit as they deserve. duckie is now my buddy and stalker because his wife is sitting in her nest more often. she's in there sleeping now. poor baby boy. he wakes me up every morning. well tries to lol. when i do wake up he's sleepin on my floor right beside me. he loves his mommmy!!
