I just love my silkies too much to eat them.....I've never had a problem with eating my chickens my silkies are my pets it'd be like eating the dog.

Hi I just came across this very old post and thought wouldn't be just too great if you still had these Aseel silki ...or black skinned Aseels?
I'd be incredibly interested in aquiring some chicks or fertile eggs if tbey are pretty much established by this point in time. ..I'm hoping to breed larger black meat birds mostly f or my family...but I love that wild jungle fowl look in this gorgeous bird here.

Please tell me you still have these around?

I'm sorry it took me long to reply back . From those crosses I only end up with one rooster I'm gonna start to establish a new family with him .
He is splash I believe. he looks like any game rooster.
