I was born and raised in the western slopes part of Colorado and my dad still lives there. With the type of winter that you all had this past year, this really isn't surprising to me! In fact, I'm really quite shocked that you've had as much summer as you all have had! Stay warm.

Yeah, I'm feeling like I really should have invested in those water barrels I was looking at. We are getting rain, rain and more rain. I mean yea for not being in draught, but come on! this is saturation!!

We surely are staying warm, I've had the wood stove fired up all week and the down comforter is on the bed and feeling mighty fine!

The ducks of course are out in the middle of the rain that's coming down right now and so are most of the chick-ducks. The chick girls believe they are all ducks! I have 2 RIR that are definitely not Glacier babes, first sign of wind or rain and they are in the coop on the roost. Winter will be sooo interesting this year!!
