Is it ok to take off the shell and crumble up the egg for my 10 day old and 7 day old chicks....They will be about 2 weeks and 1.5 weeks by the time we do this. But i figure why waste the eggs right??

Ok awesome thanks! Its okay for both the egg whites and yolks right? Also i have 7 babys, what would be there limit on eggs?

Yep, they will love the eggs. I don't know that there is a limit on how many eggs they should eat. I would not feed them so much that they stop eating their feed. The eggs have lots of good nutrition, true, but the feed is balanced for what they need. A couple a day for 7 chicks is probably ok. Mine get egg two or three times a week.

What a good idea for left-over easter eggs. Normally I ended up eating egg-salad sandwiches for every meal because I don't want the dyed eggs to go to waste.

I tried to give my chicks some scrambled egg for a treat yesterday but they didn't like it one bit. They each took one or two pecks at it and then shook their heads and started wiping their beaks on the ground. Maybe I will try hard boiled egg in a few days and see if they like that better.
