One of my 1.3 year old ISA brown hens has become visibly sick over the last 2 weeks. She has stopped laying, she stands still puffed up, and her comb is increasingly blue/purple. She still eats/drinks and goes to bed alright. My other 2 ISA browns and my 3 barred rocks sharing the coop have no symptoms of anything. She had bumblefoot in August but it’s all cleared up. I didn’t post anything sooner because I thought it might be due to the cold or a dirty coop. I have been cleaning the coop more then usual since I’ve noticed her but it hasn’t made anything better. any help I can get would be great. I don’t hear her breathing. Last time I saw a purple comb was when my 3 year old RIR had a heart attack(July) and that happened over the course of a few minutes. I have attached photos below:

So sad:(
A purplish comb signals a lack of oxygen in the blood, poor circulation or respiratory/breathing issues. Your chicken could have something caught in her throat if you notice her comb suddenly turn purple

I would call a vet.
it could be a sign of a stroke too

She could also have blue comb disease but the other is more common. You can treat this by adding one ounce of terracon 25 per ten gallons of water for four of five days if she’s quarantined and the other chickens don’t have access to her water

I’ll add ACV to their water. I don’t think anything is caught in her throat though because I don’t hear labored breathing and this has happened over the course of a few days. I do think it’s something respiratory but I haven’t ever dealt with anything respiratory.
