I feel guilty.... Like I'm not being there for my chickens

Yep, they are the cats of the poultry world.
My cats really do get clingy and agitated if we dont spend time with them. They miss us.

Chickens run to the fence and cluck and flutter when we go to the coop. If they are in the backyard and I open the door they race to me from where ever they are. Hubs has constant company when hes doing anything in the yard. Even the rooster seeks human company. There is always food and water for them, but they still hang out with us when ever possible.

Must be my RIR then. They are little a-holes :lau

We hand raised and imprinted our chickens. Tbh my 3 RIRs are a little more independent, the cats are both rescues that have become my hubs girls. They were terrified of anyone but me till I married him 2 years ago. They love him.
Lol, I hand raised my RIR’s but they still ignore me. My ducklings on the other hand are super excited to see me.

Ducks are sweet! These are the first ones I've had and they are super personable. You should get to know WannaBeHillbilly, his ducks alerted his wife when he fell through the deck and broke his leg. It's quite a story!
