It's probably because the only safe place for the brooder happens to be in my room. They're cute during the day, but not so much at 3 am when Flea's bottle cap is empty.

The bottle cap fixation is hilarious (ok, not at 3am)! He's going to have to graduate to something larger as he grows....maybe a mayo jar lid?

I'll start saving mayo lids now. Mayo lid to tuna can to chicken waterer. Hey, by the time he's 1 he may drink like a normal chicken!:P

He passed during the night. I found him laying lifeless in his heating pad lined box. Fly free my little flea.
