The site is so dang slow some of the time, maybe it is volume. I click on something, go do something else and come back to check-it may or may not have loaded yet. Tonight while waiting for things to load I've done my dishes and cleaned my bathroom, not sure what else I will get done. The only difference is dial-up had that annoying sound that let you know when it finally loaded because it quit. I have fast internet as it is fiber optic and handles TV just fine and I've history the history and cache multiple times. Still does it. It happens at work as well and I have super fast at work, we are primarily a computer software company.

It was all updated last week and it does the same thing on Explorer at work. I refuse to use Firefox or Chrome as I had huge issues with them in the past. This is the only site this happens on .

I'm sorry you are having trouble, how about you
post in the Site Problems section with specifics, one of the Staff or Tech Support could monitor if anyone else is having the same issues with speed.

This site sped up incredibly for me after I got the premium member status this week to kill the ads. It did feel like dial up before that. PC laptop with chrome.

I hate to have to pay to speed it up at this point. The site makes money on ads based usually on how many people visit the site so it should not slow it down, makes for fewer $$$.

It has speeded up again in the past few minutes. In the last week or so I have been paying attention to time of day: it runs really slow between 7 and 8 central time -- I'm at work then and too busy at work after that to check it except on breaks and then it works fine: then slows down in the evening around 5-9 most evenings. I'm thinking the servers are not handling the volume on the site. Like you said aart the ads may affect it with more people on the site. Annoying because I'm usually in bed by 8:30. Usually @ 4:30-5am no issue.

Yep, early in the morn it wasn't as bad....and it did vary thru the day...didn't keep track of times much. I still have trouble with other sites because of ads, some are worse than others, and I think my security software is part of the problem too when it comes to ads.
