I feel old

Tomorrow is my baby's 29th birthday - Wow, I didn't realize I was this old! I won't see her this year. She and her hubby have spent every spare penny with a fertility specialist to try to make me a grandma. So far nothing has worked, but we are all keeping our fingers crossed for a baby in 2011.

Here she is - Darn Hubby! Believe it or not, this is the only picture I have of her on this computer - I will have to scan one in.

One of our daughters is unable to have children. She and her husband adopted 2 girls, and took them home from the hospital after they were born. One is now 4 years old, and the other is soon to be 2. They might as well have been born naturally into our family. If things don't work out for them, I hope they will consider adoption too.

Ed, I think that is what is going to have to happen in her future. She has all kinds of things the fertility Dr. found and has been told she will not carry a baby to term and will be on strict bed rest if she does get pregnant.

The only problem is, adoption is so expensive and they have a limited budget. It's a darn shame with all the unwanted babies out there that they make it so hard to adopt!

Try social services. Most have programs to adopt for free.
