i wonder if i could use that clorox everwhere spray,my mom went a little crazy at sams club and i have a ton LOL. in the little coop they are in now,ive just been doing a major clean with the seasons, never thought about cleaning the roosts once a week.well except for the scrapping off any poo. so far,so good,we dont seem to have mites. but with this new coop i plan on getting more birds,so i dont know if this is a factor with the mites.

RE: Clothes getting bleach on them...you need to discover
DOLLAR GENERAL (or, any of those discount stores, INCLUDING Salvation Army, Goodwill, any church run thrift store.)

I guess it was my pride but, no more do I look like the suburban chick out with my whitest tennies, nice t-shirt, and new jeans!
Now, I wear out cheap sweatpants, layer old t-shirts and stained long-sleevers, wear out last year sneakers, wear my old socks into almost not rags---I am liberated!!!!!

Actually, I have 6 levels of clothing:
1-super-dressy
2-business suits
3-business casual
4-grocery store shopping nice
5-house-cleaning, quick animal feeding/horse-schooling clothing
6-old, worn, stained suitable-for-mucking-up-after-animals clothes
I N E V E R worry about getting bleach on my level 6 clothes.
And, they are washed-to-death before I tear them up for rags.
