I finally have a bevy of peafowl!

Very beautiful - did you buy them at that age? Are they tame or "wild"? I love my peafowl, I hand raised them from hatch. They have free run of the farm and can be found anywhere from the second floor balcony, to the front porch, to roosting in the tallest trees. They are magnificent birds. Wait till you see one flying high overhead - looks like a pterydactyl.

Yes, I got them at this age. They are pretty calm. I'd love to free range them, at some point, but right now, they are in their pen.

Yes, I've seen them flying overhead, it's cool!

They are beautiful! I love mine too! I hatched all but three of mine, and they all free range during the day. I have one that I can pet and she follows me everywhere! Her and her brother pull on my shorts and sit with me on the picnic table.

I plan to find a bucket, stool, or something & sit in the pen with them a little each day...hopefully, they will come to trust me.

I had 2 already here when I brought these home...they were so curious, they went right into the pen with the rest of them!

I know nothing of peafowl except they are louder than guinneas.

I have 2 peacocks (King George & King Arthur) & 7 peahens, Honey & the other 6 are yet to be named...
