Peafowl identification

Hello everyone. I hope I'm posting in the right place.
Can anyone please help me figure out what gender my yearling peafowl is?
I thought male for a long time then I thought hen. But I'm really not sure.
Its about 9 months old. And my other 2 I was able to tell by the time they were 4 months old. But this one I'm confused.
It does have a chance to be mixed with either Cameo, Java, or Indian

I would say male. He looks to be India Blue with some Java mixed in, and his pattern is black shoulder. Beautiful bird!

P.S. I'm by no means an expert on color/gender, so if anyone else thinks something different, please correct me! I'm still learning, too.

Thank you for responding.. I just don't know. Yesterday I thought male again. But this morning I looked @ it & though hen. I'm just not sure.

Thank you!! I've never heard of the hybrid black shoulder. I'm going to Google it. I look @ it everyday & think hen then male still undecided.
So thank you now I can officially say male.
