Finally, just like everyone said, we are just over 8 weeks, last mondday to be exact they turned 8 weeks on the dot. I definitely have one girl.My husband said "you watch, you'll have one girl and like 10 boys" bite your tongue! Oh well i will still love them. It's amazing to see how fast they grew. two months ago when they were born one got stuck inside the jar to the multi chick quart size feeder. Now they cant even fit their heads in it. And they are beautiful, but Im not prejudiced. I think some have Cornflower blue eyes. And busy, they delight in running back and forth on my fiberglass porch roof while driving my dog nuts that she can't join in. Anyway just wanted to share that.

Congrats on your baby girl!! They sure are special. Oh, I love my boys, too, but I always make sure my little girls get extra treats. It's amazing what the females have to put up with from the males.......I guess kinda like what we do in real life!! lol!!

amen to that sister! I feel awful sometimes for my poor hens. They have to outrun three adolescent roosters. Sometimes I do intervene when i see too much "lovin" going on,but for the most part my girls know how to put the boys in their place. Would that I have known that lesson two divorces ago
