I Finally Have an Avatar!

I finally found a picture resizing site I (computer dork) can operate--shrinkpictures.com. And now I have an avatar, my lovely granddaughter Kaitlyn!

Hi! I use IrfanView. It's a free download (Google it). I simply go to file - open - then browse for where the picture you'd like to use is located. Next go to Image - Resize/resample - choose half then do Image - Resize/resample - choose half again, etc. until it is small enough for an avatar. Choose "Save as" - "name of pic avatar". After that you go to your profile on this site. Under display you can browse for your avatar and download it. Be sure to check-box "show or use avatar". Even I figured it out! LOL!

Just go to www.shrinkpictures.com and it's really easy. Click on the Shrink Avatars link and in the size put 100X100 pixels. Then you follow the directions to upload pictures from your files. After you resize, the picture will come up and go to the top of the screen where it says "Copy to gallery" and click on that. The resized picture will appear in your photo gallery. Then you can upload onto BYC.
