Oh my, we don't have AC and it is in the mid 80s. I was out all morning and came home, omg! Tiny island home w chicks in it.
I turned the light off, cleaned the cage (as I do daily) and took it outside. They can come inside at night.
Where do you keep yours? Mine aren't even 2 weeks old.almost.

My 3 weeks old are outside in a brooder cage where they've been for almost 3 weeks. Another batch of 3 days old are in the den in a cardboard box by the incubators-don't know what I'm going to do with them since my outside cage is occupied. Might try to give them to a broody bantam hen in pen #2. Got 120+ quail scheduled to hatch next week, those little guys are who stink up the place with their hi protein diet poop!
