I would like to thank you for taking the time to save that little deer and turn it in to the wildlife rehab for a chance at life. You seem to be a very caring person. Hopefully he is doing well.

I saw a mule deer and her little tiny baby yesterday on my way home form work and again this morning. Those babies are so cute and tiny this time of year.

Not trying to be mean or anything, but I just wanted to point out that it is a barbed-wire fence. So called because of the little barbs that are attached to the wire.

Thank you I care for animals not so much for people...This is so bad but I would not have done that for a person...I would have simply called 911...people seem so mean animals they make me do wild things!

I just wanted to thank all of ya'll for making me feel good about what I done no one around my house likes what I done. They told me it was wrong and I should feel ashamed and it should have died or I needed to break its neck or I needed to lay it on the ground maybe it couldn't walk but some wild animal would have came to take care of it...etc!!! I have been outraged by what they are saying even that friends mom came to my house fussing at me I fussed back she hugged my dad and said she felt bad for him!!! I would save that deer again why I'd do that 1,000 times over if it came to that! I am not ashamed for what I done!

Wow no offense but your family sounds like jerks! I know both my parents would have been right along side me, heck my mom woulda done it herself!

my mom and I volunteered for wildlife rescue and it's sad the condition wildlife would come in from people hurting them, so it makes me very happy to see that you gave your best shot to save that little fawn! Fawns can be very fragile, but if he makes it you should ask if you can go visit! They're fun little guys once they perk up, they'll even kick you if you aren't bottle feeding fast enough haha.

Good job, and you did the right thing! It's hard having a passion for wildlife when the people around you don't

That would be so cool to visit but I don't think I could because when I took him the the wild life thing they wouldn't let me get out of the truck!!! Soooo......

Mich, too frequently people will mess with fawns when they shouldn't. In your case, I think that you did the right thing. You made the right decision. Left unattended, that fawn would have died. All people can be JERKS - that includes you and me. Bottom line is that your family loves you and were concerned. Yes, that doe might have attacked you, but she didn't. All is good - continue with updates on the fawn.
