I'm looking for any advice or experience on similar experiences. Or just good thoughts our way, I've cried lits the last couple days.
Sorry this got so long trying to explain the time line.

I very sadly had an attack on one of my coops not last night the night before. It woke me up and though I could not get a good sight of the attacker I did interrupt and was able to save my rooster and a hen with very little damage.

I looked after I settled them in a safe place for any others. I could not find anybody or the predator fallowing feathers. I looked around all day yesterday as well for any survivors.

I heard one of the girls under some lumber this morning (32 hours after attack) during morning chores. Got her out but she is very very sore. She can bear weight for a few seconds but can not walk with the one leg. If she moves she has to wing balance.

I see no large wounds and have cleaned and treated the small ones. Given poly vit and she seems wants to eat and drink well.

Do I just keep her calm and quite for a while and hope for the best?

Shes currently in my bathroom resting. I need to make her a place to stay inside for the time being and just not sure what is best for her.

I would take her to the vet for a once over and check her leg. I would also keep in a separate area till she heals up and good as new.

I put the other survivor in a different (much more secure coop) with other chickens I have. I was worried the stranger chickens would stress her more than being alone. The other too are in creat getting integrated into that flock.
I have been bringing a pair of bantams (and will be until this is resolved and they have a more secure coop) so maybe ill put them together once I here back from my vet.

I do not free range, this was my fault for not having a secure enough summer coop for our one bunch of chickens.

If she's having trouble bearing weight then a chicken sling may help. You do need to supervise so that she doesn't freak out and hurt herself worse. It can give them a chance to rest comfortably, rest the limb, and eat and drink. Here are some examples, you can search for more. Hopefully it's just a sprain or strain, but you should check, comparing with the other leg for any fractures. Here is a resource for splinting if necessary: https://theiwrc.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Duerr_Splinting_Manual_2010.pdf

Thought id give an update incase anybody wanted to know.
Nothing was broken just lots of soft tissue. She has ran around the house the last 2 days and today I started integrating her into her new flock as hers is all gone.
She was very content and happy inside and got really friendly and came looking for scratches and cuddles, but she is happy to be back out on the fresh air.

She stands out with mostly BCMs lol but im so happy she is doing well and feeling GOOD!
