Yeah it actually wasnt an egg it was a round rock

I found a "round rock" in the woods the other day. It made a nice addition to my bator, and its devleoping.

P.S. The "rock" wasn't in a nest, just laying out in the open. Just so ya know I don't go around stealing "rocks" all the time

What breed of "rock" do you think it is . I believ my "rock " is a common mallard rock

My "rock" is of the Turkey kind, I believe. I'm on day 6 and I can see little veins developing.

I think you're okay. Just say that your duckies got loose and you were missing eggs, thought it was one of your duckies.

If it turns out to be a rare/protected breed of duck, just be sure to turn him loose when he's older. Doesn't mean you have to say bye, you just have to prove you're not forcing it to stay.

Don't give out personal information over the internet and tell NOBODY about it back home and I think you're fine. If the "rock" hadn't been in a nest and it looked like a duck "rock"(and not an eagle or hawk "rock") I would have done the same thing.
