I found quail at a parrot show!

I have seen in a rise in quail at a lot of parrot shows. The buttons are great to keep in the bottom of avaries to clean up left over, otherwise wasted seed.

I love to mess with their little button minds move plants and little boxes around and watch them hours of fun as they snick up on things to check them out or give them a little plastic ball they will have you rollin'.

I have my other quail in the pen with my pheasants. I bought them hamster condos ( kind-of look like small plastic igloos) and you should see them running in and out of those things. It's really funny to watch them inspect each one after they get moved around while cleaning the pen. They act like they have never seen one before.

Monarc and Monkey are you guys talking about the cream and black or the cream and blue? Monarc said that it was a red breasted hen. I'm going to assume that the one you are talking about is the cream and black? Am I correct in this? Don't know the names of all the colors yet.

The bird that's on picture 2 behind the cream/black hen (red breasted hen) is a redbreasted male (he's in the upper right hand of number 2 picture).

In number three picture he's in the upper left hand of the picture you can just see his back and bum....he's a gorgeous redbreasted male.



the hen in your first picture almost reminds me of a silver mixed redbreasted hen....as does the dilluted looking male that seems to match her. Buttonquailhaven would know better than me though
