Ah- kitchen gadgets. I bought a cake server
(small metal spatula) at a garage sale to clean
my roost boards off. Works great. When I use
the one in my kitchen, my husband asks me if
it's the one from the coop.

Just make sure everybody in your family knows what you use it for, so they won't accidentally use it in the kitchen...

I think that tool is actually for stir-frying small things like shrimp and vegis on the bbq- I have one and it looks just like that. In case anyone is looking for one at the store...
