It came with 3 walls of reflective insulation board, 4 grow lights wired and assembled, 4 wall of heavy plastic sheeting, 2 floors, and the reeking smell of pot. It was 40$ at my local restore and my hubby preferred this to the 4x4x5 cabinet i liked for the future coop. The chicks are in it now because it was becoming awfully crowded in the brooder tub.

SO, my questions are will the floor space in this be large enough or should I add on another 2x4 foot section to the side of the top half? Do my nesting boxes need to be above or below my roosts. I have a 6x2 window i plan to install on a south wall. the floor and top are osb what should i use on them for weather proofing? do i leave the grow lights or disassemble and use for starts next year? i know what i will do to varmint proof. any other helpful ideas on using this basic frame. oh the frame istelf will rest on pavers 1in off ground

Count for a minimum of 4 sq ft per standard sized chicken and 10 sq ft of run space per bird. Roosts should be slightly higher than nest boxes or they'll roost in the boxes.

the run is a 15x12 area......plenty large... and the of course me entire yard. i am more concerned with the inside/enclosed area of the coop.
